An alien or ghost with a cloak made of stars looks out at you with melancholy eyes. Salt crystals stud the whole painting with their texture, and a blue-green duochrome paint gives it a radiant background glow.

I think my favorite thing about this painting is actually the little coral-fan of salt in the lower right corner. Strange, the things that charm you in abstract art.
