2020 is here!
It’s been 2019 all year, hasn’t it? But I still made a lot of art, including five Floating Galleries with 9 paintings apiece. Here’s my favorite dozen from the past year!

2019 is here!
Not gonna lie, 2018 wasn’t a great year for your artist, Dear Readers. But there were some good things to come out of it, like the art you see below. There were only six Floating Galleries with new art in them, and so I’ve chosen 2 from each to highlight.
Here’s hoping that 2019 brings us beautiful art, many moments of joy, and days filled with kindness.

2017 had a couple of missed months, a lot of heartache for a lot of people, and while I’m very glad to see the last of it, some good did come out of it! There’s some really standout pieces from the past year that feel like a refinement of earlier themes, and it was harder than usual to find a half-dozen unsold pieces to go in the Floating Gallery for you.
The blog has been quiet this past month, but don’t worry, the cats will be posing for their usual state of the thing in a few days. =^~,~^=

2016 has been a terrible year for so many reasons, but as I went through my backlist I found that I still like a lot of the art I made, despite everything else that was going on.
I’ve chosen all art that’s unsold this time around, a baker’s dozen with one from each month and an overall favorite that I can’t really explain my devotion to, but really, really love.

It’s the most reflective time of the year, when we all think back on what was shiny and good in the previous year. Since I enjoyed the post so much last year, I thought I’d once again choose a baker’s dozen of favorites, first month by month and finally one art to rule them all. Or something.

I know the time for all those “best of, most of” posts has mostly passed, but it’s the 13th and I couldn’t resist the chance to share with you my favorites* of 2014, month by month. Some of them have sold and some haven’t, and at least one of them is displayed in my studio, but they were all the art I was most proud of from this year.
*I’m only choosing paintings and not comics for this, because reasons.
