Tan, blonde Bond and pale, curly-haired Q are celebrating their love with puns, the little cutie pies. This simple, bold chibi style brings maximum adorableness to this pair!
You can send someone else your love and support with this grin-inducing greeting card, too.

Mineral City
Monday, June 6th, 2016
This deep green City exists in the liminal space between the orange sky and the golden glow along the horizon. The contrast of earthy warm orange and deep teal is one we see a lot in movies these days, presented in its simplest form.
This would make a fascinating tattoo, wrapping a green city around a bicep or ankle, with buildings that move and flex and sway with the movements of the wearer.
Where in your life do you need a city of strange, organic buildings against the warm glow of a new day?
Above, you can see the delicate brushwork and fantastic shapes that make up this strange city. Below, the city is in a temporary frame, waiting to find its perfect niche.

Marble Pathways
Sunday, June 5th, 2016
This painting reminds me of the very first Pathways painting, with its sparse lines framing the white page. The beautiful black tourmaline mineral pigment provides a pearly grey base for the sparkling paint atop it, like veins of malachite in creamy white marble.
A piece that rewards repeated viewings, this abstract contains layered detail in the subtle interactions of paint, paper, and light.
Above, you can see the green sparkle and hints of pearly grey beneath it as the pathways shine in the sunlight. Below, a black frame gives just the right accent to this beautiful abstract art.

Inlets
Thursday, June 2nd, 2016
The newest Map is a lovely warm one, reminiscent of a pirate’s treasure map that’s been tossed onto and then rescued from a fire.
Delicate walnut linework traces each little inlet and fjord. The textured paper with its blackened edges speaks of lifetimes of use, parchment worn and damaged and fingers run over the roughened surface.
It makes you wonder what treasure might lie at the heart of this map.
Above, you can see a close-up of the walnut ink tracing the ins and outs of these imaginary coastlines. Below, this larger piece is in a nice big frame, just waiting to add a dash of adventure to your life.

Ariadne and Yusuf
Thursday, May 26th, 2016
Someone asked me to make a bookmark set out of the Arthur and Eames art from Inception, and so I bring you two more of the fascinating secondary characters. Ariadne is the architect who builds worlds and mazes for their dreams, and Yusuf is the chemist who finds ways to put them under and still get their kick in the end.
Don’t be afraid dream a little bigger, darling.

Oh, the Huge Manatee!
Sunday, May 8th, 2016
This blobbily manatee is utterly unimpressed with the pun accompanying it, but still quite adorable. It looms in a friendly fashion, chilling in its spotlight.
You could hang this up anywhere you wanted a smile — a child’s room, an office space, or somewhere you do creative work. The paint is a muted mix of teal and granulated black that will add a touch of watery coolness to your space.
Above, you can see this manatee’s adorable little face, and below you can enjoy how handsome it is swimming in its frame.

Calcifer
Saturday, May 7th, 2016
Studio Ghibli has made some of the most amazing films, and one of my favorites is the adaptation of Howl’s Moving Castle. If you’ve seen it, the title will make perfect sense!
A glow-haloed, shadowy figure dances over the water through a rain of color and light, like a shining star in a fall of them, experiencing a few bright moments of joy before snuffing out.
This painting has several kinds of sparkle to it against a soft grey ink rain, and its real beauty shines through in person.
Above, you can see the iridescent, duochrome, and interference watercolors sparkle through the inky haze of rain. Below, you can see the piece in a frame, just waiting for its chance to shine for you.
