Another batch of Cthulhu Coloring Books have mysteriously acquired sketches in their front covers, and here’s the first of several. I particularly like the way the goo is sliding down off the surface of the eyeball, as though it’s just risen up out of a vat of its brethren, ready to do its master’s bidding.
…maybe that’s just me.

Dr. Molly Hooper character sketch

The put-upon coroner from BBC’s Sherlock, Molly is going to join Mrs. Hudson in death in my next set of Baker Street Tinies. I did this little sketch of her character design to prepare, trying to capture her nervous smile, lab coat, and general adorableness.

I figured it was time to design some of the girls from Sherlock as stick people, so I’ve started with the redoubtable Mrs. Hudson. I’ll be doing Molly Hooper next, and then perhaps they’ll make their way to the Baker Street Tinies, if I can figure out a good way to work them in.

Fans of ICHC might recognize the octopus in this sketch, though I decided he’d be more amusing atop his minion’s head than a mere hand. His human servant is, of course, thrilled by this.
