Bilberry, parody fan art for The Hobbit by Amy Crook
I imagine that whoever Bilbo was walking past thought they were paying him a compliment when they told him he looked just like a bilberry. Unfortunately, Bilbo disagreed despite the fact that he’s dressed in blue and purple with his lovely red waistcoat, just like the inside of a ripe bilberry (a relative of the blueberry).
This grumpy hobbit already has a new home, but you can get a card with which to amuse your friends at my Etsy shop.

Bart & Chris from Daron’s Guitar Chronicles by Amy Crook
This summer, Daron’s Guitar Chronicles is only posting once a week (woe!) while Cecilia writes a bunch of other things she’s likely being paid better for. So, her fans are stepping up to the plate and taking over the other posting day!
After a bit of discussion in the comments, it was decided the rest of Moondog 3 needed to take the spotlight. On the left we have Bart, the bassist, with his red bow tie and angelic curls. On the left is Christian, the drummer, tall and skinny with the kind of hair you’d expect from a drummer in an ’80s band.

4 Lord of the Rings bookmarks by Amy Crook
As you can see from the date in the signature, I actually drew these last year for one of my darling patrons, and then apparently never shared them with you! Legolas, Gimli, Boromir and Aragorn are all ready to strike out with their hobbits (and wizard) and get the ring to Mordor. Even if Boromir is convinced one does not simply walk there.
The originals are long gone, but you can get your very own printed set on Etsy.

A wonderful friend and patron of mine (hi, C!) recently had a birthday, and since she’s already gotten my other Sherlock birthday cards, I drew her a new one! I decided to let John get one up on his friend here, though you’ll have to wonder what he’s found to make Sherlock’s eyes go that big and round.

One of my lovely patrons is a huge fan of my favorite silver fox, DI Greg Lestrade from BBC’s Sherlock. We haven’t seen nearly enough of him of late, so he’s brought us a little something, and is using the classic line, “Coffee, Tea… or Me?” I’d go for him and the tea, personally, how about you?
Since the original was a commission, he’s off to his new home, but I decided to put this flirty card up on Etsy for those of you who want a little extra charm (and caffeine) in your lives.
