Weeble Wednesday: Dancing Skeleton
Wednesday, March 2nd, 2011
This little guy is a sketch I did during a slow moment when I was having a “Meet the Artist” day last month. My window at the Book Shop is down now, but this funky little guy lives on.

Weeble Wednesday: Revenge of Son of More Coloring Book Doodles
Wednesday, February 16th, 2011
Happy Wednesday!
I haven’t finished any new proper weebles in a bit, I’m running low on a couple of markers & haven’t had a chance to buy ink refills. These are a couple of doodles I sketched in people’s coloring books for Etsy.

Weeble Wednesday: Wolfman Hearts You
Wednesday, February 9th, 2011
This guy’s a little fuzzy on some things, but his heart is warm and furry and all for you! Werewolf, wolfman, lycanthrope, whatever you want to call him, he’s not on anyone’s team.
This Wolfman is the last of the new illustrations for my Monster Heart Coloring Book, aside from the bonus brides. He’s such a classic movie monster I had to include him.
Wolfman and Wolfman’s Heart, both 5″x7″ pen and ink and Copic markers on watercolor paper.

Weeble Wednesday: Ghost Hearts You
Wednesday, February 2nd, 2011
My spooky ghost is another of the new illustrations for my Monster Heart Coloring Book. I decided to reverse color him, giving him a subtle blue glow around his edges and then fading to darkness out to the margins of the paper. I haven’t made him into a Valentine, though, so if you want to take him home, you’ll have to just get the original.
Ghost and Ghost’s Heart, both 5″x7″ pen and ink and Copic markers on watercolor paper. $129 for the pair in a double frame, with free shipping.

Weeble Wednesday: Cthulhu Hearts Tentacles
Wednesday, January 26th, 2011
Cthulhu has brought you a bouquet of cultists! He just wants to be loved, see how he’s baring his heart for you?
This is another of the new illustrations for my Monster Heart Coloring Book. I couldn’t resist putting a Cthulhu in, and of course he’s also available as a Valentine.
Cthulhu 3 and Cthulhu’s Heart, both 5″x7″ pen and ink and Copic markers on watercolor paper.

Commission: Winter Octopus
Friday, January 21st, 2011
Aside from my own, I did get to do one other winter card this year as a commission. Gretchen (proud owner of Nugget) saw my Squittens card design and asked me to draw her up a cheerful cephalopod all her own. We decided on cool wintry colors, and having him making snowflakes as a proper activity for a cute little octopus celebrating the season. The hat was a last-minute addition that gave him a bit of extra interest, and really pulled together the whole theme of the piece.
She’s gotten her cards sent and received by now, so I thought I’d give a last bit of holiday cheer by sharing the art with you.

Weeble Wednesday: Zombie Hearts Brains
Wednesday, January 19th, 2011
This charming fellow is another of the creepy cuties in my Monster Heart Coloring Book. His “heart” is a brain, which is a zombie’s real favorite thing, showing the real depth of his love that he’s willing to share. Of course, he’s got his heart in his hand as a spare, just in case brains aren’t your style.
Zombie 6 and Zombie’s Heart, both 5″x7″ pen and ink and Copic markers on watercolor paper. $129 for the pair in a double frame, with free shipping.
