Torporific
Tuesday, April 12th, 2016
It’s definitely a house rule among cat owners that you can’t be expected to do any sort of responsible adulting if you’ve got a cat in your lap. They have their very own special gravity that causes inactivity among their chosen humans/bedwarmers.
I drew this live on Persicope; come join me some Wednesday around 2-3pm Pacific. Next week I’ll be doing a Patreon patron’s requested word!

March Patreon Art
Thursday, March 17th, 2016
My wonderful backers on Patreon this month gave me some great prompts, and so we have a dragon, a cat, some spring flowers, and Rory from Gilmore Girls. I was apparently feeling the purple, though to be fair I knew the dragon person liked purple, and I’ve always associated spring with lilacs.
If you’d like to see me sketch to your specs next month, become a patron yourself!

Conversation Arts week 2
Monday, February 15th, 2016
Another week, another set of candy hearts! I’ve eaten every one of these after finishing the sketch, and let me tell you, blue is not good. But it means the weird repeats are all natural, as it were! The whims of fate and candy have brought seven more sketches.
Castiel + Dean = a complete inability to communicate like adults. But also love.
If you’ve ever played Settlers of Catan, you have heard this joke before.
I admit it, I am addicted to Neko Atsume. Peaches really loves the sakuramochi cushion, when she can get her paws on it.
One of my Patreon patrons asked for February rain for her sketch, and I ended up with this sweet bit of sadness.
Sleep deprivation + Periscope encouragement = bee puns.
Apparently I really want to draw Q this month, so this time I matched him up with an orange tabby. Because kitten kisses are the best kisses.
“Q, why did you want to come to the beach if you’re not going to swim?”
“I’ve got exactly what I want, James, don’t you worry.”

Conversation Arts week 1
Monday, February 8th, 2016
After recovering from the foolishness of doing a daily sketch project and NaNoWriMo in a single month (my advice: don’t do that), I felt ready to tackle the month of love and sarcasm! I bought a bag of large conversation hearts, and have been choosing (and eating) one out of the bag every day. The whims of fate and candy have brought you these seven sketches.
Q + tech = qt3.14.
This gorgeous kitty’s tail is on fleek.
Snacks, personal space, and something exploding? The Twelfth Doctor’s best day.
Lorelai Gilmore + coffee = OTP.
Sherlock + skull = love beyond death. Or at least after.
Ron & Hermione, he’s smug and she’s not so sure about this soulmates thing.
Who could say no to a proposal like that?

Cheshire Catnap
Saturday, December 5th, 2015
Caturday is the perfect day to give yourself a catnap.
This fuzzy Cheshire Cat is just in it for the naps, much like every other cat I’ve ever met. His floof has floof, and one can only imagine the grin on him when he’s awake.
Where do you need a little bit of wonderland in your life? This kitty would be great in a bedroom or nursery, soothing someone to join him in sleep.
Purr.

Cat Naps
Tuesday, June 2nd, 2015
Cats! Lazy, languid, liquid cats. I first explored this idea in a sketchy little bookmark, but of course with only room for three poses it wasn’t nearly enough.
I took inspiration from my own ridiculous pets, Belladonna and Pod, and of course the many cats on the internet.
I have trouble choosing a favorite — what’s yours?

Above, you can see a close up of the fine brush work on this sleeping kitty, rich with texture despite the minimalist design. Below, you can see the piece in a frame, just waiting to add some extra kitty zen to your life.
