Two of my darling patrons this month asked me for Pumpkin Spice, so they both got some cheerful Autumnal sparkle. I also had a request for sleeping late at any cost, and on of the kitties kindly posed for this little ink sketch in lovely, sparkly Stormy Grey.

Birthday Poddles

Putting a bow on a sleek black cat might seem like a good idea, at least until you find out how the cat feels about it. This big-eared beauty is modeled after my own black cat, Pod, but has beautiful crosshatching in place of fur, giving it some gorgeous graphical detail to go with the bad attitude.
This intricate drawing is perfect for someone with a great sense of humor and a special love of cats — even the ones with murder in their eyes.

Slyboots is one of those words that just needed a cat. I also have several fandom ideas for it, so we might see it again at another point in the year — maybe November can be a Greatest Hits month where I do different versions of words I’ve already done while the rest of my brain is busy with NaNoWriMo.

Does your cat do this? I will be working away (or goofing off mightily) and suddenly find that there is a cat in my lap and I’m petting it. Belladonna’s sneakier than Pod most of the time, but they both do it. My question is always, wait, when did this happen?
