The second in my commission series I’m calling All the Doctors, Twelve is saying another famous line, “Time Ends.” He’s wearing his snazzy Sonic Sunglasses, one of his more casual outfits with the hoodie and t-shirt under the fancy coat, and plaid trousers that were not a thing I recommend drawing by hand.
And yet, somehow, I keep drawing dudes in plaid. Go figure.

Inktober is complete! I caught a mild cold or allergy attack or something, but I managed to power through thanks to some huge mugs of strong tea and a couple of hot toddies. After recovering from the foolishness of doing a daily sketch project and NaNoWriMo in a single month (my advice: don’t do that), I felt ready to tackle the month of love and sarcasm! I’ve visited this theme before, but this time a lovely patron commissioned me to draw the objectionable huggers as well! Ten and Eleven both think a three-Doctor reunion is an occasion for hugs, but Twelve is having none of it.
This also sneaks into my theme from last week by being an excellent anti-Valentine.

No Hugs, Doctor Who parody art by Amy Crook
Even though this is technically a holiday card design, I decided to leave the word bubbles off this original so it’s more of a lovely, grumpy portrait of Peter Capaldi’s twelfth Doctor. You can see the cute comic complete with words below. I copied his pose from the first publicity still they gave us of his costume, but used the universal gesture for “no touching” instead.
He is really not into hugging.
